Terms of Trade
Our commitment is to provide high-quality, ethical, and affordable dental care in a professional, respectful, and transparent way.
By proceeding with treatment, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.
1. Estimates and Fees
- All treatment estimates include GST (15%) and are valid for 30 days from the date provided.
- Estimates are based on the information available at the time. If further findings arise during treatment, any changes and related costs will be clearly discussed with you before proceeding.
2. Payment Options
Other payment options may become available – please ask our team for current methods.
3. Deposits and Prepayments
All other payments are due on the day of service, unless arranged otherwise with the Practice Manager.
4. Cancellations and Missed Appointments
Missed appointments or short-notice cancellations will incur a $75 fee.
5. Patient Rights and Responsibilities
If you have any questions about your treatment plan, costs, or payment options, please speak with us before your appointment so we can clarify or assist.
6. WINZ and Financial Assistance
If your application is declined, payment of the full treatment cost remains your responsibility. Please inform reception if you would like to apply for WINZ assistance.
7. Overdue Accounts
- Balances outstanding beyond 30 days may attract an additional $50 late fee.
- Debts older than 45 days may be referred to a collection agency, and all recovery costs will be charged to you.
- Please note that this may impact your credit rating.
8. Payment Plans
Failure to meet the agreed schedule may result in withdrawal of the payment plan and reinstatement of normal collection procedures.
9. Credit and Information Use
This may include obtaining information from public or private organisations related to your dental treatment or financial history.
10. Treatment Suspension for Non-Payment
Pausing treatment does not remove your obligation to settle existing balances.
11. Consumer Guarantees
Refunds or credits cannot be issued where treatment outcomes are affected by patient negligence, non-compliance with clinical advice, or previously explained risks that were understood and consented to.
12. Updates to Terms
Revised terms will be published on our website and displayed in our reception area.
Continuing with treatment after such updates indicates your acceptance of the revised terms.
