Terms of Trade

Panmure Dentists 2001 Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates as a privately owned dental practice in East Auckland.
Our commitment is to provide high-quality, ethical, and affordable dental care in a professional, respectful, and transparent way.
By proceeding with treatment, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.

1. Estimates and Fees

  • All treatment estimates include GST (15%) and are valid for 30 days from the date provided.
  • Estimates are based on the information available at the time. If further findings arise during treatment, any changes and related costs will be clearly discussed with you before proceeding.

2. Payment Options

We accept payment via EFTPOS, Visa, MasterCard, Afterpay, GE Money, Farmers Finance Card, Q Card, bank transfer and cash.
Other payment options may become available – please ask our team for current methods.
Our payment methods are subject to change.


3. Deposits and Prepayments

Depending on the treatment, we may require a deposit or full prepayment before starting your procedure.
All other payments are due on the day of service, unless arranged otherwise with the Practice Manager.

4. Cancellations and Missed Appointments

To respect our clinicians’ time and other patients waiting for appointments, we ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or changes.
Missed appointments or short-notice cancellations will incur a $75 fee.


5. Patient Rights and Responsibilities

We are fully compliant with the Code of Health and Disability Services Consumers’ Rights.
If you have any questions about your treatment plan, costs, or payment options, please speak with us before your appointment so we can clarify or assist.

6. WINZ and Financial Assistance

We can provide WINZ quotes for eligible patients.
If your application is declined, payment of the full treatment cost remains your responsibility. Please inform reception if you would like to apply for WINZ assistance.


7. Overdue Accounts

  • Balances outstanding beyond 30 days may attract an additional $50 late fee.
  • Debts older than 45 days may be referred to a collection agency, and all recovery costs will be charged to you.
  • Please note that this may impact your credit rating.

8. Payment Plans

Where payment arrangements have been approved, these must be followed as agreed.
Failure to meet the agreed schedule may result in withdrawal of the payment plan and reinstatement of normal collection procedures.


9. Credit and Information Use

You authorise Panmure Dentists 2001 Ltd to collect and share relevant information with third-party agencies for the purpose of assessing creditworthiness or recovering outstanding payments.
This may include obtaining information from public or private organisations related to your dental treatment or financial history.

10. Treatment Suspension for Non-Payment

We reserve the right to postpone or withhold treatment – including the manufacture of customised items (crowns, dentures, bridges, mouthguards, veneers, whitening trays, etc.) – until payments have been made in full.
Pausing treatment does not remove your obligation to settle existing balances.


11. Consumer Guarantees

Panmure Dentists adheres to the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
Refunds or credits cannot be issued where treatment outcomes are affected by patient negligence, non-compliance with clinical advice, or previously explained risks that were understood and consented to.


12. Updates to Terms

Our Terms of Trade may change periodically to reflect updates in operations or legislation.
Revised terms will be published on our website and displayed in our reception area.
Continuing with treatment after such updates indicates your acceptance of the revised terms.
